If you tried to install Babylon and the installation windows freezes, it might be that your internet security level in Internet Explorer is set to High. We are aware of an issue where some of the definitions in the High level mode interfere with our installation process.

Suggested solution:

We suggest that you will temporarily lower the settings as described below. Once the installation of Babylon is complete, you can go back and set them to a higher level if you desire.

We understand the concern about security when browsing the internet, we can assure you that our software is 100% safe and should not harm your computer in any way.

If you would like to continue, please follow these steps:

  • Close the Babylon Setup window.
  • Click on 'Start' \ Windows icon at the of bottom of screen, then type "Internet Options" in the Search field.
  • Choose 'Internet Options' from the results (see screenshot).
  • A screen titled 'Internet Properties' should open up as shown below.
  • Click on the 'Security' tab, and choose 'Internet'.

  • Under 'Security Level for this Zone', change the level to Medium-high and click on 'Apply'.  (If there is no option to change this configuration, please click the 'Default level' button first)
  • Run again Babylon setup file - now you should be able to run installation properly.

* Please note  - at the end of the installation process, you may set the Security level to High again, in the same way we made the change to medium-high.
