The document translation feature is available through many different ways.
- Translating a document using the Babylon client:
- Document Translation Tab:
- Open the Babylon Translator.
- Select the Document Translation tab.
- Open the Babylon Translator.
- Client Menu:
- Open the Babylon client.
- Click 'Menu' on the top right corner.
- Select 'Document Translation'.
- Open the Babylon client.
- Document Translation Tab:
- Accessing document translation through the tray icon:
- Click the upwards arrow in the task bar. (^)
- Right click on the Babylon icon.
- Select 'Document Translation' from the menu.
- Click the upwards arrow in the task bar. (^)
- Translating from within Word, Excel or PowerPoint:
- Using the 'Translate Document' button on the ribbon.
- Make sure you are viewing the 'Home' ribbon.
- Locate and click on the 'Translate Document' shortcut on the right side of the ribbon.
- Make sure you are viewing the 'Home' ribbon.
- Using the button in the file menu:
- Click on the 'File' tab in the ribbon.
- Look for the Babylon document icon and click on it.
- Click on the 'File' tab in the ribbon.
- Using the 'Translate Document' button on the ribbon.
- Using File Explorer:
- Open the Windows file explorer.
- Navigate to the location of the document you wish to translate.
- Right-click on the document.
- Click on 'Translate Document' within the menu that opened up.
- Open the Windows file explorer.
No matter what is the way you decided to use for opening the document translation, please follow this steps once the document translation window is open:
- Select the source language of the document you wish to translate as 'From'.
- Select the target language for your translation as 'To'.
- Click the 'Browse' button to locate the file on your computer.
- Click 'Translate'.
The file will be uploaded for translation and will automatically open up once the translation is complete.
